The Sky Guy

Exploring the Night Sky

New Hampshire residents will have the rare opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.

Budding astronomers will be eager to witness these awe-inspiring solar eclipses, but it is important to remember that they should only be viewed with certified solar eclipse glasses or using the projection method. NHPBS and UNH Observatory director John Gianforte have partnered to create resources so you can learn more on how to keep your eyes safe during an eclipse and understand the eclipse's path.
